and throughout the day weird things have been happening/happend

i walk into work and found out this dude walked off of work (he quit/got fired)

or this other person i just found out got fired
for putting makeup on “sale” so that she could buy it for cheaper

but no. not weird enough!!!

or not amazing enough.

not as awesome as the thing that happend to me.

long story short.

i broke a bus.

now let’s make the short story long.

TODAI, on my way to work
i rode the bus.

i walk in. found myself a nice spot to stand cus thers no seats available
them bus moves to the next stop.

the bus stops and opens its doors for the passengers to disembark
i noticed that the rear doors were infront of a snowbank
and which the doors got stuck half way open and coudlnt open/close

the person who wanted to exit through the rear doors did not want to leave that way
so she exited through the front.

as everyone who wanted to get off got off
and everyone who wanted to get on got on.

as the bus driver tried to close the doors,
the rear doors were still stuck on the snow bank

and, I, as a helpful citizen of Canada and
a ………..something……..TTC rider
tried to be a helpful samaritan

i tried to close the door so we could leave
i pulled the doors as hard as i could
and the doors closed.

so now the bus is making an annoying highpitched noise.
and the bus could not drive off

the bus driver turned the bus off twice
to try to get the doors back to normal

the noice disappeared,
but the bus still coudn’t move

thus, the bus driver told us we can’t move on
and told us to get off and
get on the other bus

luckily, ther was another bus which takes the same route im taking
i got on
found myself a nice seat.
and tweeted. xD

i tweeted
“LOL. I think i broke the bus. HAHAHAAHAHAH”

and sure enough, i think i did break the bus.
LOL!!!!!

now im just wondering if they will check the cameras on the bus
to see what happend

or if they find me and charge me.lol
worse case scenario
i would not be allowed to ride the bus anymore, or for at least a period of time.

hopefully they wont give a shit. lol.

it was ok. Meals were decent, Sushi was excellent, and variety was awesome.
It was a Japanese Restaurant so you’d expect Japanese food priced as they would be.
Not cheap. Unless you go All You Can Eat, then it’d definately be worth the price.

Ordered myself “Teppanyaki” Dinner set
My order was basically seafood on a hot plate.
Crab claws/legs, Mussels, umm………Squid, Clams, and………o.O something else……
and the usual onions, carrots, and green pepper for colour and taste.
Miso soup was good, like always.

Then sometime later before the meals came in, they served us complimentary sides.
Of korean kimchi. Not the spicy cabbage, but the oily noodles, garlic fried greens, and something we weren’t sure what the hell it was.

You must be asking why they served Korean sides in a Japanese restaurant.
That is because it was a Korean Restaurant serving Japanese food.
The staff were korean, and…………thas basically it.
The atmosphere was Japanese, the menu was Japanese.
Hell, it was a Japanese restaurant.

Then i found a small part of the menu where the Korean food was listed.
Yep, gotta have Korean dishes at least if your staff is all Korean.

Nevertheless, we still ordered Japaneses food.
Rin ordered Torikatsu, which is basically fried breaded chicken breast.
Whereas Tonkatsu would be friend breaded porkcutlet

Ordered Maguro(tuna) sushi for a hefty $4 for 2 peices of sushi, or 3 pieces of Sashimi
Tamago(egg) Maki(roll),  Sake(salmon) Maki, and Sake Sashimi.
The salmon in the roll was a big piece, and the salmon sashimi was a big chunk of sliced salmon.
You could say it was well worth the price paid, but if you go AYCE then ordering a lot would be more worth it.

Eating commenced

After eating, we called for the bill.
They took our plates, and served us dessert.

Half an orange. Yep.

Then I received a tweet from Twitter from a friend saying
“it’s snowing so peacefully outside it’s so beautiful”
I thought, “huh. im currently in her part of town”.
i looked outside the window and it was snowing.
Just as my friend tweeted xD

After paying the bill

Opened the door and walked outside into the cold, freezing, awesome weather.
And snow. only a bit though.

Had a full meal, feeling cold and needed something to warm up.
We headed off to the nearest Tim’s house for some coffee.

Now I dont usually do reviews of restaurants and their menu,
but this was an exception.

You know why?
It’s not because of the food, service,
nor the special Japanese/Korean menu,
but because of the washroom.

Yes, their customer facilities.

even though they’re 4-7 hour shifts, mostly 4, it’s still kinda tiring having to go 7 days straight.

i can finally relax and do nothing!!

so i checked my schedule for work number 2 ( thas what i’ll be calling my second job nao) and i’m not scheduled to work tomorrow(the 22nd). YAY!!!!

Just incase, i’ll turn my phone off the whole day so 2nd boss wont be able to reach me.

So long story short I work 3-5 days at my store depending on which week it is.
every other week I work 3 days, and the following week i work 5 days.

In the other store I work only Thursdays.
So this week would be the 5 day week and the extra 1 day at the other store.

But today, my new employer called to see if i could work today.
It was a last minute call.
Hell, i dint do the “daily routine” yet.
So i rushed it.

So todai my 7 day straight work week started.
Started todai and ends sunday.

My next break would be next monday.
yeah…..

after work todai……i went crazy……..
thinking about the income xD

started fantasizing bout what stuff i could afford to get.
I know it’s not a good idea to do that, but i couldn’t help it.

I started laughing like an idiot/crazy person xD lol

oh man, which reminds me……….i should get a new bedframe……
my current one i’m kinda scared of………cus i randomly hear creaks
and when i looked under my mattress it looked like the support holding the wooden planks supporting my mattress is breaking off the screws and yea…….
it might suddenly break on me, and might break my back……*know on wood* : (
and…….. i have a lot dust and garbage under my bed. with a lower bed frame i wouldn’t have to worry bout that.

oh yeah…….i’ll have less time for a lot of things that i do
such as read manga, watch anime, clean(not like i do anyways), play games, and………….and…………
well, i read a lot of mangas and watch a lot of animes, and replay my games to get all the hidden shit.

i also just recently got into kamen rider, again, thanks to Kyokou-san.
he had a kewl Kamen Rider belt from the Kamen Rider Decades series.

so watching that after work will take a lot of time out of all teh things i do (and things i dont do anyways)

Remember my post back in july.
wher a shoppers nearby was failing and i went to help out.

yea……this is my 2nd adventure

this happened last Thursday. that would be oct 28th.
it was my day off so i was sleeping in.
then my supervisor called me 10:11 in the morning asking if i wanted to work.

i was like “wha??”
she then told me a Shoppers nearby was in dire need of merchandisers
i asked her if this was another failing store like the one back in July
she said it wasn’t, and that they just needed help because apparently their Front Store Manager was recently fired.
due to poor performance, and that they needed help as soon as possible.

accepted but my condition was i was to start at 1pm, and no earlier.
seeing their call caught me off guard and during my beauty sleep.
that way i would have time to eat breakfast, shower, etc etc..

the location was at Lawrence and McCowan.
Lucky me, there was a store there that sold comics.
Arrived a bit early so i could check out if they had the comics i was hunting.

Luckily they did, so i returned ther 2 days after to buy them.

still 25 mins before i actually started, i just decided to walk in and prepare w/e.
Meet the assistant manager, owner, and few other people i was going to work with.

After meeting them, the truck with new merchandise just arrived.
lucky me, i  have fun bringing out stock to the front store.

first thing was first.
take the bathroom tissues, facial tissues, and paper towels that are going to be in promo the following week to the 2nd floor storage.
o.O!!! 2nd floor????
yes they had a 2nd floor for storage. i was surprised.
i asked how would i do such a thing?
he said i was to use the elevator.
ELEVATOR!?!?!?!

omg they had a conveyer belt to bring merchandise upstairs :O

and if you load a lot of heavy boxes on it it’ll start to slow down and eventually wont have enough power to actually run.
if that were to happen, you’d have to operate it from the bottom and give it a push to start.
that would be more effective if 2 people were to do this.

thas how it looks  on the 2nd floor storage area.

after stacking the tissues upstairs, i had to bring stock out onto the floor.
the front store.
the fun part bout working as a merchandiser.
bring stock out, and do nothing else. hohhohohoh

did that for a good couple of hours.
and my supervisor from my store also helped out and came in 2 hours after i did.
note this was a bigger store compared to my store, and yea.
they had a lot more stock to put out.

after a couple of hours it got hotter, idk why but i think the heater is up way too high.
the assistant manager said he was feeling the heat too, but apparently all the ladies who worked ther felt cold.
i was burning and flooding with sweat!
my sweat rag was drenched, and my uniform stunk.

the heat was hard to work with, it made me feel like crap, and affected my performance.
after doing stock, i realised their back room was hell messy and unorganized.

earlier that day i brought out some crackers unto the front store.
i noticed they already had some crackers as overstock, yet they ordered more of it.
yea….they are fucked.

they also had baby merchandise overstock beside the pet food overstock.
thas not very good putting baby food beside pet food.
then i found more new stock that they had overstock of.

everyshit was everywhere.

then near the back door was a crap load of boxes waiting to be thrown into recycling bin.
it was just messy.
at first i was thinking of applying to work in this store, but nao after seeing the conditions i dun even want to return.

the other merchandiser i worked with was a nice person.
she said the only way to throw the recycling was with another person. it was a 2 person job.
you know why?

this is why. thers a huge bin outside that crushes the boxes and such.
of course this is a safety issue so it really had to be done by 2 people.
we threw the boxes and crushed them.
and the back looked a lot cleaner.

hah. a few minutes later it was closing time!!!
9 hours of work and 30 mins of break. i had more time for my break, but only took 30 mins.
i woulda prolly get lazy if i took the whole hour break.
ghey thing was, ther are were no Tim Horton’s nearby to calm me down.
except teh tim horton’s they said that was in the hospital across teh street.
during break i had onion rings from a nearby fish and chips joint.
it was decent onion rings.

our shift was done, my supervisor and i were glad we finished.
we did not want to return there again after seeing the enviroment we had to work in.
we were very glad we work at our store which is a lot neater and well organized, and lead by a very good manager.
i returned to my store the day after and i gave my manager a hug. im so thankful for the store i work in.

earlier during the day, the store owner asked if i could leave my contact info and schedule.
guess who’s going back tomorrow for an 8 hour shift XD

i can’t. Dir en grey only took 7 years to debut in North America in Family Values Tour with Korn back in 05.
i’d continue, but this is an  X Japan post.
So let’s get it started!!!!!

Day started off with meeting up with Yuki and Rin at Don Mills station at 12 pm.
Arrived at downtown around 12:45, upon arrival we headed off to Steve’s Music to drop off my bass “shiroi hana”.
My white Fender Standard Jazz, cus it  needed a better set-up than the one Long&McQuade did.
Apparently the guy at Steve’s also listen to a bit of Jrock, especially X Japan.
He also wanted to attend the concert but couldn’t. I forgot to ask why. lol

After dropping off my bass we headed off to Ajisen Ramen in China town Spadina.
Had lunch, then proceeded to look for glow sticks for the concert.
Apparently, according to Kyokou-san being in an X Japan concert without glow sticks to make an ‘X’ is a loser.
We did not want to become losers, especially for X Japan, so we searched high and low for glow sticks that work.
We managed to get some. Short ones. Not exactly the right length, but at least we’re not losers.
We were only short losers xP

After buying glow sticks we went to chek out the venue. It was still hours before the concert, and no one was in line for the venue.
‘Cept, there were people waiting in “line” to see the band members exit their van and enter the venue at the side of the building.
Not really the actual line to get in, so it wasn’t actually necessary to stay there. So then we decided to walk around Eaton’s Centre to chill.
Went around Indigo and met up with Gothik Shadow and Corrine. The fellow jrockers we met at the D’espairsRay concert 2 months ago.
Walked around some more in Eaton’s, and went back up to Indigo to meet up with Shadow’s and Corrine’s friends. More ppl to meet

We then proceeded to the venue only to find  out they’re still waiting for the band to arrive.
We stayed and waited in “line” to meet the band when they enter the venue from their van.
Kyokou-san called and arrived from Waterloo and met up at teh venue.

Few hours later

The bus arrived

the door opened :O

and started to question

who are these ladies coming out of the bus????

are they the band member’s wives???
make up artists????
their mothers perhaps??

after the ladies came out. Out comes Pata the guitarist

he said hi. lol

Sugizo the newb. i mean teh new guitarist in place of hide

and Toshi, one of the most important member of the band.

Few hours later it was time to enter.
got ticket out.
readied my poster holder for weapons check and what not.
gave ticket
and got in.

wait what!!?!?!!?!????
no weapons check???
no camera check????
REALLY?!?!?!?!

they did not check for weapons or cameras.
they just took our ticket stubs and let us in.
Kewl.
Maybe next time we’ll learn to actually bring a DSLR lol

When inside it was time to check out the merchandise

the merchandise was disappointing. somewhat.
they had no posters on sale. AT ALL. what kind of tour live does not sell posters?????
it’s like the most essential item to sell.
apart from shirts yeah…..

so they had

Yoshikitty (Yoshiki version of Hello Kitty) $150
Keychains for $10
wristband for $10
tote bag for $20

i wanted teh yoshikitty, but couldn’t afford it.
i was also expecting them to sell yoshikitty keychains or phonestraps, and i woulda bought like 4 of those but they dint have any. just the huge ones for $150

so i just ended up with a shirt, and a disappointment of no posters.
after getting merchandise the main hall wasn’t open yet. so we hung out at the bar heheheheh

the bar was pretty spacious, and the atmosphere was calming.
seemed like a nice place to relax and drink alcohol with friends.

I gotta say the venue is awesome.
they let you bring alcohol from the bar to the main hall.

vampires everywhere was the show opener
they were heavy screamo
not really the right type of sound to open for X Japan
imo they weren’t that skilled, and i doubt they can actually sing
the only song i liked from them is the last song.
not because it was the last song until X Japan played,
I mean it was the only song that i found…………likeable according to my taste.

ps. one of their band members looks like Christopher Mintz-Plasse  from Superbad and KICK-ASS
lol

After Vampires Everywhere played fans began to moved closer to the stage to get a snapshot of Yoshiki’s drums.
Just yoshiki’s drums, not like like anyone would be interested in Pata’s rig, Heath’s rig, or Sugizo’s special Eddie Van Halen rig. Not even Toshi’s special regular looking mic stand. lol
during intermission, i got myself another beer, bought a friend a merch and went back to the main hall just in time
for X Japan to come out.

the lights dimmed, the X Japan logo began to grow in size, and the narrator began to stutter “japan” over and over again until

they opened with Jade.

then the rest is history for me. i enjoyed rest of the concert until the very end.
i thougth i lost my iphone too during that night, jumped up and down really hard i thought it fell out of my pocket.
thankfully it was in my other pocket lol!

Hooray!! my other package arrived the next day.

Too bad i was leaving for work when the package arrived and had to pick it up the next day.
Picked it up before going to work, then I had to carry it by hand on the way to work.
Started to unwrap when i arrived to work.

This one in a slighty more bulky package, but has more protection.

When you open it you’ll see it’s wrapped in bubble wrap and taped to the shipping “box” so it ensures no loose moving around when being shipped.

I might get the new Bass magazine featuring Toshiya and Ikuzone.
Their basses are similar because Ikuzone was the first one who thought of the design, and Toshiya just modified a bit of it to make it his own.

This magazine shows more of Toshiya’s collection. More than the Bass Magazine.

If you can see on the bottom left corner what looks like a Fender Mustang bass it actualy isn’t but close to it.
It is by Fender but it is actually a Musicmaster bass. It has one singe-coil pick up and the body of a Fender Mustang.
The machine heads are mini, which is weird for a Fender to have since their machine heads are huge.

After Toshiya’s collection we have Shinya’s set.

Which consists of 11 drums(shells) and 16 cymbals.
Shinya has quite the collection compared to some modern american bands.
Not all of them are used in a single song, but they’re used according to the song.
This way Shinya is quite the artist when it comes to drums.

We then have Play Roots Album 60. Toshiya and Shinya’s influences and what helped drive them into musicians.
Bands and artists include Led Zeppelin, Luna Sea, Buck Tick, Deftones, Metallica, Motley Crue, Dream Theatre, RHCP, X Japan, Sugizo, MICHAEL JACKSON, and many more.
